Description

Naudin-Ferrand's 2023 Le Gamay de Bully comes from Les Palières in southern Beaujolais, on blue stones and volcanic rock. Grapes are hand-picked, transported cool and sorted before whole-bunch vinification in concrete. Pressing takes place before alcoholic fermentation has finished, favouring fruit and limiting tannin extraction. The vintage's profile is intense, with ripe black fruit, pleasant acidity and velvety tannins. It is a convivial cuvée within the BiNaume range, made by Claire Naudin from grapes sourced outside the domaine, connecting her cellar approach with a distinct southern Beaujolais origin.
