Description

Domaine Neumeyer's Riesling Grand Cru Bruderthal originates in a natural amphitheatre on the hills of Molsheim. Southeast exposure and a Muschelkalk marl-limestone substratum define the site, known for its wines since the fourteenth century. The word Bruderthal, valley of the brothers, preserves the memory of Carthusian monks. The organically grown grapes are hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, where the wine remains on its lees. The cuvée interprets Riesling through this specific origin, associated with breadth and salinity in the fresh setting of northern Alsace.
