Description

Domaine Neumeyer's Riesling Hospices comes from northern Alsace, where the estate farms vineyards around Molsheim. The cuvée originates on southeast-facing marl-limestone soils and is grown according to organic principles. The grapes are harvested by hand; fermentation uses indigenous yeasts, and vinification takes place in stainless steel, followed by time on the lees. The wine belongs to the family's interpretation of its local ground, attentive to freshness, tension and texture. Riesling is expressed through an approach linking the origin of the grapes with their development in the cellar.
