Nicolas Faure's Les Vignes Blanches comes from a tiny Aligoté parcel in Pernand-Vergelesses, within the Combe d'Echevronne. Planted in 2021 with massal selections sourced from Sylvain Pataille, the vines occupy the foot of the slope and face southwest. Whole-bunch pressing is followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine matures for around a year in used barrels and is fined with bentonite. This cuvée highlights a clearly identified young planting, distinct from the producer's other Aligoté through both its vineyard origin and the plant material chosen for the site.
