Au Leurey 2023 is Pierre-Olivier Garcia’s interpretation of Côte de Nuits-Villages through Pinot Noir. It belongs to a range built around small-scale production and attentive relationships with the different origins of the grapes. Maturation takes place in barrique for around twelve months, while the producer’s method is distinguished by care for berry integrity. In the reds, whole bunches and destemmed grapes can be combined with hand-cut baie-par-baie fruit, intended to preserve aromatic finesse. The wine therefore connects a defined regional identity with patient cellar work that favours individual decisions over a standardised approach.
