Description

Pierre Girardin’s Montrachet places Chardonnay at the summit of a range made by a producer who grew up among his family’s vineyards and cellars. The cuvée draws on a heritage of very old vines and is fermented with indigenous yeasts. Maturation takes place in large-format barrels chosen to accompany the wine through its development. It belongs to a project combining estate vineyards with long-standing relationships with other growers, launched with Pierre-Vincent’s first vintage in 2017. The Grand Cru origin remains the central reference for this limited-production wine.
