Description

The 2005 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru “Cuvée des Alouettes” from Domaine Ponsot is a Pinot Noir sourced from the Monts-Luisants climat. It offers aromatic complexity with an elegant frame, noticeable tannins and lively acidity that support further development. Fermentation is carried out in wooden vats at controlled temperatures, followed by approximately 18–20 months maturation in French oak barrels with no new oak. The cuvée is made from high-density vines cultivated on a single hectare parcel.
