Ladoix Le Cloud Blanc

Information

Description

Le Cloud Blanc is Prieuré Roch’s Chardonnay from Ladoix-Serrigny, at the foot of the Corton hill. The vineyard lies in the northernmost part of the Côte de Beaune, close to the transition towards the Côte de Nuits. The estate’s technical page records a 2005 planting and describes a delicately fruity character. This white cuvée accompanies the Pinot Noir from the same named site while retaining its own varietal identity. The domaine seeks vineyard expression through attention to the soil and restrained intervention, leaving room for the natural differences of each harvest.
