Prieuré Roch’s Clos des Argillières is a Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru in Prémeaux-Prissey, in the southern part of the appellation. The parcel joined the domaine in 2009 and was already farmed organically. It borders Clos des Corvées and is distinguished by a pronounced slope that approaches the bedrock in its upper reaches. This precise position within the wider Les Argillières climat provides the wine’s starting point. Its character is rich and enveloping, with a sense of warmth and dense tannins well covered by the substance of the wine.
