Savigny-Lès-Beaune Dessus les Gollardes Rouge

Information

Description

Prieuré Roch’s Dessus les Gollardes Rouge comes from Pinot Noir on the heights above Savigny-lès-Beaune. The domaine took over the climat in 2018; the red vines cover slightly more than one hectare on stony ground. The elevated position and nature of the soil are important elements of this origin. The producer highlights its inviting character and a personality reminiscent of the Côte de Nuits, despite its Côte de Beaune location. Whole-bunch vinification forms part of the estate’s approach and accompanies its search for a recognisable expression of place.
