Description

Prieuré Roch’s Les Suchots comes from a parcel of approximately one hectare in the Premier Cru of the same name at Vosne-Romanée. The climat occupies a gentle slope below Les Beaumonts and Aux Brûlées, close to Échézeaux. Its name recalls the stumps of woodland that once gave way to vines. The domaine emphasises its supple, silky character as a classical expression of the village. Whole-bunch vinification belongs to the estate’s approach, based on vineyard care and limited intervention so that the identity of the site remains recognisable in the wine.
