Prieuré Roch’s Clos Goillotte is a small monopole of approximately half a hectare in central Vosne-Romanée, opposite the former cellars of the Prince de Conti. For a long time, its wine was reserved for the owning family’s consumption; it became available to wine lovers after Henry Frédéric Roch purchased the vineyard in 1988. This history makes the clos a particular case within the village’s vineyard mosaic. The domaine describes its character through roundness and marked delicacy, emphasising an enveloping texture and the finesse of its expression.
