Description

Robert Groffier's Bonnes-Mares comes from old vines in a holding of roughly one hectare, extending across both red and white soils. This diversity helps define the origin of the Pinot Noir, one of the family's two Grand Crus. Oak maturation is followed by a period in tank, in a sequence intended to preserve precision of fruit. The style brings depth and substance together with a refined tannic texture, recalling dark berries, flowers and spices. Concentration is accompanied by a mineral dimension that supports the wine's development and its sense of balance.
