Description
Bougros occupies the northern end of Chablis’s Grand Cru hillside, on the right bank of the Serein. Its west and southwest exposure brings sunlight late into the afternoon, contributing to this Chardonnay’s generous character. Domaine Roland Lavantureux makes the cuvée through a must-purchasing partnership established in 2012. Maturation combines wood and stainless steel to bring depth and freshness together. The wine expresses ripe fruit, breadth and richness, balanced by the mineral dimension associated with the family’s work. The separately matured components are blended before the wine is bottled at the domaine.
