Description

Domaine Rostaing's La Landonne is a Côte-Rôtie made exclusively from Syrah, originating in three parcels within the named site. The ground includes schist-derived sands marked by iron oxides. This origin accompanies a deeply structured wine with firm tannins, freshness and notes of wild berries and liquorice. Maturation takes place in barrels of different sizes, following the estate's approach to the appellation's reds. The cuvée retains a direct connection with the character of its vineyard site and the Rostaing family's wine-growing tradition.
