Description

Domaine Rostaing's Les Lézardes Rouge is a Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah from three parcels bordering Côte-Rôtie. Its origins include the Tupin sector, Vérenay and an area near Saint-Cyr. Vinification involves a period of maceration followed by maturation in six-hundred-litre barrels. The cuvée forms part of the family's northern Rhône work, using vineyards outside the Côte-Rôtie appellation. Through a single grape variety and several places of origin, the wine expresses a distinct part of the vineyard holdings of the estate established by René Rostaing.
