Description

This Corton-Charlemagne belongs to Jean-Marc Roulot's micro-négoce project and is made and bottled in the estate's own cellars. Chardonnay is harvested by hand and selected in the vineyard, maintaining direct oversight of the quality of purchased grapes. Fermentation in oak and subsequent maturation on the lees, completed in stainless steel, reflect the approach applied to the house's white wines. The Grand Cru extends the horizons of a producer closely associated with Meursault, bringing his pursuit of definition, balance and attention to individual origins to the hill of Corton.
