Description

Nana-Tsu-Mori Pinot Noir is the flagship wine of Domaine Takahiko, founded by Takahiko Soga in Yoichi on Japan’s island of Hokkaido. It comes from the organically cultivated estate vineyard of the same name, which recalls the seven types of fruit tree that once occupied the land. The Pinot Noir is worked with indigenous yeasts and gentle extraction, following an approach based on limited intervention. The cuvée’s identity brings together this grape variety, northern Japan’s cool maritime climate and viticulture attentive to biodiversity and the environment surrounding the vineyard itself.
