The Jouard brothers' Bâtard-Montrachet comes from a small holding on the Chassagne side of the Grand Cru, where old Chardonnay vines form an important part of the estate's heritage. The family has farmed these vineyards for generations, with Vincent overseeing the vines and François the cellar. Hand harvesting and oak maturation support a classical interpretation focused on depth and concentration. The cuvée offers broad substance, sustained structure and a persistent palate, balancing its natural generosity with careful definition. It stands at the summit of a range firmly rooted in the different vineyard sites of Chassagne-Montrachet.
