Description

Made by Domaine Violot‑Guillemard, the Meursault “Les Meix Chavaux” is a white wine from the Meursault appellation produced from Chardonnay grapes. The Les Meix Chavaux parcel faces east–northeast; the vines have an average age of about 40 years and the parcel is relatively small. The domaine ferments without added commercial yeasts and carries out malolactic fermentation, followed by roughly 11 months of barrel ageing.
