Description

Domaine Weinbach's Cuvée Colette comes from Riesling grown on the lower slopes of the Schlossberg hill, where granite-derived soils drain freely. Mature vines are farmed organically and biodynamically, and the grapes are picked by hand. Gentle whole-bunch pressing and indigenous-yeast fermentation in old oak vats preserve the character of the site. The estate's description of the 2021 combines white flowers, tropical fruit and citrus zest with a dense palate and vibrant acidity. Structure and precision come together in a long finish, making this a Riesling with a particularly clear affinity for the table.
