Description

The 2021 Cuvée Félix offers a distinctive interpretation of Y. Clerget's Clos de Vougeot. Its starting wine is the same as the barrel-aged cuvée, but this small selection follows a different maturation path in a Wineglobe, a spherical glass vessel. Production in 2021 amounts to approximately two hundred bottles. The profile combines red fruit, breadth and intensity, with fine-grained tannins that avoid a drying impression. This experiment reflects Thibaud Clerget's curiosity about different possibilities during élevage, while keeping the Grand Cru and the precision of its expression as the central reference throughout.
