Made by Domaine Y. Clerget, this wine is labelled Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru and comes from the “Grand Maupertui” section of the Clos de Vougeot in the Côte de Nuits (Bourgogne). It is produced from Pinot Noir grapes and, for the domaine, is typically vinified with a notable proportion of whole clusters and aged in oak barrels. The fruit comes from mature vines in the upper part of the Clos, in parcels adjacent to well-known producers such as Anne Gros and Méo-Camuzet.
