Description

The Cuvée Ernest Riesling Sélection de Grains Nobles 2009 from Domaines Schlumberger is a sweet white wine made from hand-picked Riesling grapes affected by noble rot. The 2009 production was sourced from parcels within the Grand Cru area (picked from Grand Cru Kessler parcels in 2009) in the Guebwiller district of Alsace. It shows a golden-yellow colour and offers complex aromas of candied citrus, ripe grapefruit, crystallized fruit and honeyed notes; the palate is rich and silky with a balance between sweetness and freshness.
