Aeroplanservaj is the Barolo of Domenico Clerico, a Monforte d'Alba winery, made from Nebbiolo grown in the Baudana cru of Serralunga d'Alba, whose soils give deep wines that are austere in youth. It matures partly in barriques. The 2021 is full and powerful, with plum, blackberry, damp earth and tobacco.
