Description
Flor de Pingus 2023 comes from Peter Sisseck’s work in the vineyards of La Horra in Ribera del Duero. Tinto Fino, the local name for Tempranillo, forms the centre of the wine, sourced from parcels farmed according to biodynamic principles. Maturation combines barrels and larger oak vessels, with restrained use of new wood. The vintage presents ripe, juicy fruit, with suggestions of fresh plum and violet. Fine tannins accompany a balanced texture, while the contribution of oak remains delicate and integrated into the wine’s progression across the palate.
