Description

Peñas Aladas Clarete interprets Ribera del Duero's tradition of making wine from red and white grapes together. It comes from the namesake site in La Aguilera, a cool valley surrounded by pines, holm oaks and junipers, where century-old vines survive. Tempranillo shares the vineyard with Albillo and other local varieties, forming a mixed heritage that Jorge Monzón and Isabel Rodero bring together in the same vinification. Slow maturation in oak within their underground cellars accompanies its development. The cuvée expresses Dominio del Águila's project through a historic wine style approached with the same care as its reds.
