Lapena is Dominio do Bibei's Godello, a white wine from Ribeira Sacra focused on one of the area's established grape varieties. Based at Manzaneda in the Quiroga-Bibei subzone, the winery describes its work as a search for Atlantic wines connected to their place of origin and capable of developing over time. For this cuvée, the cellar approach includes contact with the lees and ageing in French oak. The decision to devote Lapena to Godello gives it a distinct role in the range, offering a particular white expression within the valley's varied vineyard landscape.
