Description

Cuordilava 2020 from Donnafugata is an Etna Rosso DOC produced on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, with fruit sourced mainly around Randazzo. Made from Nerello Mascalese, it displays a ruby-red hue with aromas of small red berries, spicy and floral notes; the palate is supported by integrated tannins and noticeable volcanic minerality. The wine is aged for more than a year in French oak barrels followed by additional bottle ageing prior to release.
