Description
Bassermann-Jordan’s Langenmorgen Weißburgunder is a Pinot Blanc from the vineyard above Deidesheim, running parallel to the Palatinate Forest. Its elongated shape and an old unit of land measurement explain the name. Limestone distinguishes this site within an area also marked by sandstone. For the 2024 vintage, grapes were hand selected over several passes and fermented spontaneously in traditional wooden casks and tonneaux. Apricot, ripe pear and orange peel meet spicy and lightly smoky nuances. The creamy texture remains supported by freshness and clearly defined fruit through the palate.
