Leinhöhle is Bassermann-Jordan’s dry Riesling from the vineyard of that name west of Deidesheim in the Palatinate. The slope faces south, while the nearby forest contributes to the site’s identity. Its name derives from a medieval form probably associated with flax cultivation. Classified as VDP.Erstes Gewächs, the wine centres on the relationship between fruit and freshness. Peach and apricot accompany its texture, with a citrus element and a persistent finish.
