Description

Margrit Rosé Brut Nature 2018 is Bassermann-Jordan’s bottle-fermented Pinot Noir sparkling wine. Some grapes receive brief skin contact to extract colour, while the remainder are pressed directly. The base wines are handled in wood and ceramic before selection for the blend. Extended lees ageing precedes hand riddling and disgorgement. Its pink colour has copper highlights, while brioche, caramel and small red fruits accompany a fine mousse. Fresh acidity supports the persistence and dry impression, making this sparkling wine suitable for small starters and canapés as well as drinking on its own.
