Description

Bassermann-Jordan’s Pierre Brut Nature 2018 is a Palatinate sparkling wine made from hand-harvested Chardonnay. Following slow pressing, the central portion of the juice is selected and allowed to settle before fermentation in five-hundred-litre oak barrels. A second fermentation takes place in bottle, followed by extended lees maturation and hand riddling and disgorgement. Its profile combines citrus, brioche, nuts and light herbal nuances. Fine bubbles and acidity support an elegant, dry texture, making it suitable for opening a meal or for enjoying on its own in the glass.
