Description

S...Sprung is a dry red blend from Bassermann-Jordan’s Weinmanufaktur, made with grapes from different vineyards in the Mittelhaardt area of the Palatinate. Selection at harvest and destemming precede vinification in wood. The deep red colour has violet highlights, while the aromatic profile combines dark fruits, cherry and light toasted notes. The palate is concentrated and persistent, with fine tannins and an herbal suggestion on the finish. It suits dark meats, braised dishes and barbecues; for the latter, serving it slightly cool helps retain a clear impression of the fruit.
