Description
Dubreuil-Fontaine's Beaune Montrevenots Premier Cru comes from a Pinot Noir parcel in the southern part of the appellation. The vineyard sits at the top of the slope, facing south towards Pommard, on stony soils rich in limestone, white marl and red clay. Grapes are hand-harvested, sorted and destemmed; vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel precedes oak maturation. Rose, peony and red fruits form the bouquet. The palate is velvety, with raspberry, strawberry, mineral nuances and persistence. Roast beef, duck and pigeon are suggested accompaniments for this Premier Cru.
