Egly-Ouriet Grand Cru Millésime comes from vineyards in Ambonnay, where Pinot Noir and Chardonnay express the family’s connection with this terroir. The cuvée preserves the identity of a single harvest, developed through extended ageing on lees in bottle. Hand harvesting of ripe grapes and fermentation with indigenous yeasts in oak form part of the wine’s development, followed by bottling without fining or filtration. The interpretation favours texture and concentration, allowing time to build complexity. Each vintage expresses these principles through its own balance while retaining the precision associated with the estate.
