Egly-Ouriet’s Les Vignes de Bisseuil comes exclusively from the Premier Cru village of Bisseuil. Chardonnay leads the blend, completed by Pinot Noir and Meunier, giving this cuvée a distinctive place within the estate’s range. Vinification takes place in oak, followed by extended time on the lees in bottle before disgorgement. Dosage remains very restrained, consistent with its Extra Brut style. The wine puts a single origin and its balance of grape varieties at the forefront, within a cellar approach directed towards depth and precision of expression.
