Description

Scharzhof is the Riesling that introduces Egon Müller’s production in the Saar. It is made exclusively from estate-grown grapes harvested in Saarburg and Oberemmel and in the Braunfels and Kupp sites of Wiltingen. The blend therefore offers an interpretation of several origins within the estate. Vineyard work puts fruit quality first, using restricted yields and soil cultivation while avoiding chemical fertilisers, herbicides and insecticides. In the cellar, the approach remains traditional and restrained. The Scharzhof name identifies this introductory cuvée within the estate’s family of Riesling wines.
