Elio Altare's Barolo Arborina, from one of the leading figures in Barolo's renewal at La Morra, comes from the vineyard of that name next to the winery, with vines planted in 1948 and 1989 and farmed with minimal intervention. It ages 24 months in barriques. The 2021 is elegant and juicy, with small red fruits, flowers, spice and tobacco.
