Description

Cerretta Vigna Bricco is Elio Altare’s Barolo Riserva from Serralunga d’Alba, made from Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyards lie on clay and limestone marl, with exposures ranging from southeast to southwest. In the cellar, maceration takes place in temperature-controlled rotary fermenters, followed by maturation in French oak barriques, some of them new. The ruby colour shows garnet highlights, while the aromatic profile combines spice, liquorice and tobacco with balsamic and minty suggestions. The palate is warm, with powerful, structured tannins that define this expression of Serralunga.
