Description

Langhe Rosso “La Villa” by Elio Altare is a red Langhe DOC wine from the La Morra area. It is a Barbera and Nebbiolo blend, vinified with a short maceration and aged for about 18 months in new French barriques. The wine shows an intense ruby colour with aromas of plum and red berries and a balanced tannic structure, with Barbera contributing lively acidity. Production is limited, typically around 1,000–1,500 bottles.
