Description

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo "Casa Pepe" is a red wine from Emidio Pepe made solely from Montepulciano grapes grown in the Casa Pepe vineyard in Torano Nuovo, Abruzzo. Bottled under the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC appellation, it is produced from old vines and vinified using spontaneous fermentations in line with the estate’s methods. The wine is released in limited quantities and is intended for extended bottle ageing. It represents the character of a single vineyard from the producer.
