Description

Zero 140 Luna 2009 is Enrico Serafino’s Alta Langa Riserva Pas Dosé made from Pinot Nero and Chardonnay. This vintage combines 85% Pinot Nero with 15% Chardonnay from Mango, Loazzolo and Bubbio. The base wine ferments in stainless steel before a second fermentation in bottle, followed by at least one hundred and forty months on the lees and late disgorgement without liqueur d’expédition. Candied fruit, honey, toasted hazelnut and bread accompany a creamy, substantial palate. Acidity maintains a vibrant texture, extending into a persistent mineral finish that balances the wine’s breadth.
