Description

Champ Bouton is one of the single-site selections through which François and Justine Petit-Boxler explore Avize at La Rogerie. The vineyard lies in the northern part of the village, with thin topsoil over particularly firm chalk. The family's old vines are tended with close attention to soil vitality, and individual parcels are vinified separately. Fermentation and maturation in wood, together with prolonged lees contact, contribute to the domaine's vinous style. The cuvée therefore focuses on a precise Grand Cru origin, interpreted through fully ripe fruit and a patient approach in the cellar.
