Fattoria dei Barbi’s Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is a DOCG red wine made entirely from Sangiovese grown in the estate’s Montalcino vineyards. From sites at roughly 300–500 m above sea level, it shows ruby color with aromas of red berries, floral hints and herbal tones. On the palate it offers structure, noticeable tannins and lively acidity, with solid ageing potential. The wine is matured following the estate’s traditional regime, including periods in oak of varying sizes prior to bottling.
