Description

The Fattoria dei Barbi Brunello di Montalcino Vigna del Fiore 2019 is a red Brunello di Montalcino DOCG made solely from Sangiovese grapes grown in the estate's single Vigna del Fiore (about 5.7 hectares) in Montalcino. It offers aromas of ripe red fruit and floral notes, with subtle spicy and slightly sanguine hints; on the palate it is fresh and saline, with gentle tannins and a persistent finish. It reflects the estate's southern vineyard site and has capacity for further short-to-medium term aging.
