Description

Poggio Cuccule 2017 is a red wine from Fattoria di Caspri, produced in Montevarchi in the Upper Arno valley (Tuscany) and sold under the Toscana IGT designation. It is made from 100% Sangiovese sourced from old vines in the Poggio Cuccule vineyard. The wine shows a ruby to garnet color with aromas of ripe red fruit, balsamic hints and subtle earthy tones. On the palate it is medium–full-bodied with lively acidity and firm tannins; pairs well with grilled red meats, game and mature cheeses.
