Description

Fiorano Rosso 2013 is a red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown on the volcanic slopes of the Colli Albani near Rome. The volcanic soils give the wine structure and ageing potential; maturation includes Slavonian oak casks followed by additional bottle ageing before release. Aromatically and on the palate it shows dark fruit, spice and tertiary nuances that mark its development.
