Description

Profumo di Vulcano by Federico Graziani is an Etna Rosso made from historic vineyards on Mount Etna’s northern slopes (Contrada Feudo di Mezzo, Passopisciaro) at roughly 600 m elevation. The wine is a blend of Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Alicante and Francisi, fermented spontaneously in oak vessels. It is aged in tonneaux for about 24 months before bottling. Aromas include red fruit, Mediterranean herbs and spice, with noticeable tannins and a saline finish.
