Colonia is a Chianti Classico Gran Selezione from Fèlsina made from grapes grown in the estate’s Colonia vineyard on Poggio a Rancia. The wine is produced from 100% Sangiovese and is aged roughly 30 months in new French oak barrels, followed by bottle maturation. It is a structured wine with firm tannins and aromas of red fruit, spice and earthy notes, suitable for further cellaring.
